The glitches with text overwriting on google and some pages on wikipedia and bloglines is a bug in Firefox (see Bug 338770). A fix has been devised, and it looks like it will be included in a maintenance release after Firefox 2 ships (see Mozilla 1.9 Trunk and 1.8 Branch Plan). . Note that you can configure this extension not to operate on those pages via the settings tab.
